Yesterday evening the police in Britz arrested a 33-year-old man who is suspected of breaking into two office buildings and a car. An employee of a company on Gradestrasse alerted the police around 9:30 p.m. after discovering a broken window and a damaged car. In no time, the officers caught the suspect, who had just come out of the office building, and discovered stolen goods in his backpack.
Additional investigations showed that the man could also be responsible for another break-in at another office building, where a window was also broken. Now it remains to be seen what further details the criminal police will uncover. The suspect was taken into police custody and will appear before a judge today to decide on a possible arrest warrant.
