Yesterday afternoon there was a serious traffic accident in Reinickendorf, in which a 17-year-old pedestrian was injured. Around 3:45 p.m., a 65-year-old man steered his BMW along the Aroser Allee and caught the young people, who apparently crossed the street in red light. The force of the impact hurled the young woman through the air, fell on the road and lost consciousness.
Rescue workers were quickly on site and immediately brought the seriously injured young people to a hospital. During the rescue and accident recording, the Aroser Allee between Lindauer Allee and Gotthardstraße was closed until around 8 p.m., which also concerned BVG bus lines 122 and 125. The police are now investigating in the case that the exact background is still unclear.
