A serious traffic accident occurred in Köpenick yesterday afternoon, in which a 46-year-old small skate was injured. The dramatic events occurred around 5 p.m. when a 52-year-old woman turned to the left with her Renault from a petrol station into Obersprestrasse. In doing so, she collided with the man's rapidly moving moped, which was obviously on the road at high speed.
The 46-year-old suffered polytrauma and had to be taken to the hospital immediately by rescue workers. The investigation is now led by police department 3 (East) to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident.
