The morning in Zehlendorf took a dramatic turn! A 49-year-old driver was seriously injured when a cyclist who changed lanes recklessly and illegally caused the collision. At around 9:30 a.m., the woman drove her car off Berlepschstrasse and overturned spectacularly after trying to avoid the cyclist. The impact was violent - her car crashed into a postal mailbox.
With a head injury and a wrist injury, the injured woman fought her way out of the overturned vehicle while paramedics took her to a hospital. The cyclist who left the scene of the accident without permission is currently unknown and the police have taken over the investigation. Berlepschstrasse had to be closed briefly to record the accident, which also affected bus traffic on line 115.
