Drama in the Neukölln summer pool: young people get into a brutal argument!
A violent confrontation broke out in a summer pool in Neukölln in the late afternoon. Several young men who were at the main pool at 4:25 p.m. initially pushed each other for fun. The accident began when one of the men fell into the water and landed on a 16-year-old, who was injured. A witness who observed the scene jumped into the water and hit the person responsible, whereupon a group of 15 to 20 other people showed solidarity and attacked the four young men.
Police were quickly able to identify four suspects, aged 15, 17 and 21, who were involved in the attack. Investigators announced that the oldest suspect was the first attacker. All attackers were released after their arrest. The injured young men, aged between 18 and 22, and the 16-year-old teenager had to be treated in hospitals. The investigations into breach of the peace are still ongoing.
