Bloody clash in Mitte: Several injured in knife attack!
Yesterday evening the Karl Liebknecht Bridge in Berlin-Mitte became the scene of a bloody clash between two groups. At 9:45 p.m., concerned witnesses alerted police when the rival men, equipped with knives, attacked each other. The first officers quickly discovered several injured people: two 20-year-olds, a 23-year-old and a 24-year-old, all with stab wounds and cuts. Particularly alarming was the condition of a 24-year-old who suffered a life-threatening back injury.
Nearby, on the town hall bridge, emergency services found two other men, aged 24 and 26, with similar injuries. All those affected were immediately taken to hospitals by the fire department. During the investigation, officers arrested a 14-year-old and two men aged 19 and 20, who were later released. The young person was taken into the care of the children's emergency service. Despite an intensive search, the emergency services found no murder weapons. The police are now continuing to investigate to clarify the background to this dangerous altercation.
