A attentive neighbor snapped a suspected burglar on Menzelstrasse last night! Around 10:50 p.m. she noticed suspicious movements in the back yard of an apartment building when a man and a woman were strikingly created on the windows of an ground floor apartment. While the man got through a window, his accomplice kept guard.
The neighbor's quick reaction was crucial: she immediately called the police. The emergency services arrived quickly and were able to arrest the 27-year-old suspect after his escape over the balcony. With him, the officials found alleged stolen goods, including jewelry from the apartment. The accomplice, however, escaped. The arrested person was transferred to police department 4 and is to be brought before a judge to apply for an arrest warrant. The investigation into his fleeting accomplice continues.
