The first anniversary concert lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes and included about 25 songs, especially from the first 15 years of their career. The audience was enthusiastic, especially the second song "Hello Joe", which provided euphoric reactions and collective jumping. One of the special guests was Farin vacation from the doctors, who surprisingly stepped onto the stage to play the manowar cover "Kings of Metal". In addition, Rodrigo González and Bela B. joined him from the doctors as well as Campino and Kuddel from the dead trousers. Arnim Teutoburg-Weiß encouraged the audience with his active stage presence, which made the evening unforgettable.

a mirror of music history

The Beatsteaks are a significant part of the German rock music scene, which has its roots in the 1960s. This scene was strongly inspired by American and British models and still reflects developments such as the Krautrock, Punk and the Neue Deutsche Welle. The band grew up at a time when the music cultures in Germany mixed through reunification. This also has an influence on Beatsteak's band history in Germany, which is characterized by diversity and dynamics.

music is increasingly shaped by a wide range of styles, from indie rock to metalcore and beyond. Thanks to digital platforms such as Spotify, artists are possible to reach a global audience and make their music accessible to a wide audience. So the future of German rock music remains exciting and innovative.

The celebrations of the Beatsteaks are not only a great event for fans, but also a moment of reflection on the development of German rock music and the legacy that have left the bands like the Beatsteaks.
