The founding story of 1 & 1 Versatel is at least as fascinating as its present. On October 21, 1999, Versatel Telecom International was launched in Amsterdam, and the company quickly made a name for itself in the industry of the same name. Since November 2019, the headquarters of 1 & 1 Versatel are located in Wanheimer Strasse, in the immediate vicinity of the airport.
