The town center Rudow, a charming place with a historical flair, should continue to be protected and preserved. In order to preserve the special features of the Märkische Dorfkern, careful planning and active participation of the community are required. The preservation of 2008, which regulates the protection of the historical center, is now being revised to integrate contemporary climate protection and construction standards.

From August 15, 2024, residents and interested citizens have the opportunity to contribute their ideas and wishes to update the preservation regulations. The residents are intended to get the chance to help shape the future character of their residential area. On September 10, 2024, an open consultation of the Neukölln interaction shop will take place in the Gertrud Haß library. Here the citizens have the opportunity to enter into dialogue directly with the employees: inside the Neukölln urban development office and ask questions.
