How church hereditary construction can contribute to solving the apartment question in Stuttgart

The apartment question is an urgent problem in metropolitan regions such as Stuttgart. The churches have considerable property and real estate. The question arises how the churches can combine their economic and social mandate. The heritage law offers possible opportunities for sustainable and social management of church properties.

To illuminate this topic, Prof. Dr. Martin Schneider, professor of moral theology and social ethics at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, give a lecture on "church hereditary grounds". Afterwards there is a panel discussion in which the focus is on the concerns of the Stuttgart region, perspectives from the areas of social ethics, urban research and economy are brought together. In addition to Prof. Dr. Martin Schneider Dipl. Ing. Ricarda Pätzold, Head of Urban Development, Law and Social Affairs at the German Institute for Urban Studies gGmbH in Berlin, as well as Ingo Strugalla, Managing Director of the Schönau Foundation and President of the German Hereditary Law Association in Heidelberg.
