Christmas in the zoo: Berlin invites you to the animal festival of rest!
In the capital Berlin, animal lovers and nature enthusiasts can also breathe a sigh of relief during the holidays! The Zoo and the Berlin zoo remain open on the Christmas holidays, which will delight many visitors. According to Berlin-Live , the zoo will be accessible to guests from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on these days, whereby the last admission is made at 3:30 p.m. The zoo has similar opening times, but closes at 4 p.m. This decision was made to offer people the opportunity to experience a moment of calm and joy in nature in the often hectic Christmas season, as zoo director Dr. Andreas Knieriem emphasized.
Visitors can also visit the Berlin Aquarium, which also ensures atmospheric entertainment. However, on Christmas Eve, December 24th, an exception is made: all facilities close at 2 p.m. before they open on the regular times on December 25th. "The winter environment and the calm make this visit to the special season particularly valuable," continued the zoo director.
