Hooded storms Fu Berlin: Protest and chaos at the university!

On Thursday, October 17th, an alarming incident occurred at the Free University in Berlin-Dahlem: Around 40 hooded activists stormed the presidium and left a chaos from destruction. According to the university, doors and technical devices were damaged, while walls were sprayed with provocative slogans such as "Free Gaza" and the Hamas triangle. There were also physical arguments between the protesters and the employees of the university.

A banner that was unrolled by the intruders at the Presidium building threatened: "If police officers enter our building, we destroy the technology". The police moved quickly and was able to end the line -up, with several suspects arrested and evidence was secured. The police union (GdP) sharply condemns the campaign and demands that NID have to remain places of free teaching and tolerance. GdP state chief Stephan Weh emphasizes the need to banish extremist goods from educational institutions. More details on this incident are in the report on www.berlin-live.de to read.
