The times of the lame connection are over! Deutsche Telekom has made great progress in the district of Meißen. Within just two months, a high -performance location in Riesa was upgraded to 5G - and this ensures cheering among the residents! More bandwidth, better reception in every corner and even in buildings, the signal will be as strong than ever. That means: no more waiting for streaming or surfing!
"The need for bandwidth grows exponentially - annually by a whopping 30 percent," explains Georg von Wagner, company spokesman for Telekom. The answer to the increasing demands? Tempo when expansion!

Now there are 115 mobile phone locations in the Meißen district! Fantastic, right? The network coverage for households is an incredible 99 percent! And that is only the beginning: another 22 locations should be added by 2026 and at 58 radio masts there are already extensions with LTE and 5G in the starting blocks.
But Telekom cannot continue without the support of the municipalities and owners. So if you want to make space for new locations available, you can contact the German radio tower directly, which is responsible for the expansion of the mobile phone locations.
