Music festival for young and old in Fez Berlin: try out instruments, workshops and live music!

The district office would like to draw attention to an upcoming event of the FEZ Berlin, which will take place on March 16 and 17, 2024 in the State Music Academy Berlin in Fez-Berlin. The weekend will be full of musical experiences, from classical music to hip-hop to music from all over the world. Visitors of all ages are invited to actively make music, be it by plucking strings, beatboxing, dancing to street beats or discovering unusual sounds. Professionals will also give tips.

The stage program includes appearances by school and youth bands as well as choirs and symphonic orchestras from Berlin and music schools. The highlights are the "Great Caruso singing" of the Cosmopolitan daycare center and a concert with film music by Charlie Chaplin. A total of over 800 active musicians will appear, including children aged only four years.

A special highlight will be the instrument of the year that this time is the tuba. This can be heard in concerts of youth disaster orchestras, wind classes and a music school ensemble as well as in the "acoustic hat salon". Visitors also have the opportunity to try the tuba themselves.

In addition, there will be instrument and creative stands where visitors can try out a variety of instruments such as tuba, violin, flute and more. Music dealers offer a child -friendly selection of instruments and helpful tips.

There will be seven different offers at workshops, which are guided by music professionals. Here visitors can sing, beat Boxes, Capoeira, Breakdance and Band Coaching. There are also musical stories to participate for the little ones.

and for those who want to relax, there will be music films in the in -house cinema, especially for children. The event is organized by the Landesmusikakademie Berlin in cooperation with the Fez Berlin.
