Advisory Board for Participation and Integration Treptow-Köpenick is looking for new members
In February 2023, the Advisory Board for Participation and Integration in the Treptow-Köpenick district started work for the first time. Since then, the committee has been committed to the concerns of people with a history of migration in Treptow-Köpenick and is now looking for two other members to reinforce. We are looking for people with their own migration and escape history who live in Treptow-Köpenick, work, complete an apprenticeship, commit themselves to volunteers or study in the district. Representatives of civil society with professional knowledge of participation, integration and equal participation can also become part of the advisory board.
The advisory board advises and supports the district office in questions of participation, integration and equal participation of people with a migration background and meets at least eight times a year. Interested parties can apply by June 16, 2024 by e-mail to integration@ba-tk.berlin.de or by post from the district office Treptow-Köpenick. The applicants are asked to show why they want to become part of the advisory board and what experiences they can bring in. People of different groups such as black people, people of color, queer people and people with disabilities or chronic diseases are expressly encouraged to apply.
The management of the advisory board lies with the office for participation and integration. If you have any questions or for further information, interested parties can contact. The Advisory Board for Participation and Integration is looking forward to the applications and to further strengthen the committee.
