Two important locations were expanded in just two months: an LTE location in Gräfenhainichen and a 5G basis in Kemberg. That means: faster reception and a more comprehensive coverage for the population!
"The need for bandwidth continues to increase - 30 percent year after year! That's why we are driving mobile phone expansion around the clock," said Georg von Wagner, company spokesman for Deutsche Telekom. Telekom's commitment ensures that the people in Wittenberg not only stop in the rain when talking on the phone, but also when surfing.

With the new locations, Telekom has now installed impressive 78 mobile radio stations in the Wittenberg district! This is a household cover of around 98 percent! But that's just the beginning.
by 2026 a further 36 locations are to be planned, and there are also 13 radio masts that are expanded either with LTE or 5G. These extensions are more than just numbers on a paper; They are the key to a better digital future for the region!
