Telekom is expanding mobile communications in Prebberede with 5G expansion
Deutsche Telekom has promoted mobile phone expansion in Prebberede by expanding a location with 5G. This improves the mobile phone coverage and there is also more bandwidth available. The reception in buildings in particular will benefit from this. Georg von Wagner, company spokesman for Deutsche Telekom, emphasizes that the need for bandwidth increases and therefore the mobile phone expansion is driven at speed.
Telekom now operates 132 locations in the Rostock district, whereby the household cover is around 98 percent. Another 74 locations are to be added by 2025 and extensions with LTE or 5G are planned at 66 radio masts. However, Telekom rely on cooperation with the municipalities or owners in order to rent necessary areas for new locations. If you want to rent an area for a roof or mast location, you can contact the German radio tower.
The German radio tower is responsible for the construction of the Telekom mobile phone locations. Telekom currently has more than 36,000 mobile phone locations in operation and is building around 1,500 new locations every year. In order to learn more about the availability of LTE and 5G at their own place of residence, interested parties can find out more at www.telekom.de/netz expansion.
