Telekom denies Höcke's claim to advertising logan
Deutsche Telekom has decided to check legal steps against the accusations of the AfD politician Björn Höcke regarding an alleged earlier advertising logan and vigorously contradicts his claim. Höcke had claimed during a TV duel with Mario Voigt that Telekom had used the slogan "Everything for Germany" in the past, which was rejected by a company spokesman.
It turned out that the sentence in question was a forbidden solution of the SA, the paramilitary organization of the NSDAP. Due to the use of this slogan in a speech, Höcke should have to answer to court next week because he is accused of having used the license plate of anti -constitutional organizations.
This is not the first time that Telekom is making political claims. Last year, Alice Weidel's AfD district spokeswoman Alice Weidel was legally proceeded after making similar false information about the company's promotion of advertising. Telekom asked Weidel to refrain from this claim, whereupon it assured that it would refuse to do so in the future.
Höcke, himself a history teacher, defended his choice of words during the TV duel and claimed that he did not know that it was a SA slogan. He described the sentence as a "common saying". Deutsche Telekom now expects legal steps to be taken against Höcke.
