Successful past and news
System of a Down enjoyed huge success in the early 2000s with hits like “Toxicity,” “Chop Suey!” and “B.Y.O.B.”, all of which became classics in the metal genre. Their album “Toxicity,” which sold over 12 million copies worldwide, catapulted the band into the top international ranks. Their second album “Mezmerize” even reached number 1 in the German album charts. The band has sold over 40 million records in total and received numerous Grammy nominations, including a Grammy for “B.Y.O.B.” in 2006, like T Online leads.
Despite the quiet times in recent years, with only a few performances in Europe - the last in Germany in 2017 at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park - fans are excited about the band's return to Europe. Over the past few years, System of a Down had not released any new music, aside from the 2020 single “Protect The Land / Genocidal Humanoidz,” which references the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. This current work demonstrates the band's commitment to important issues and underlines their responsibility as artists.
Tour details and support

For the concerts in Berlin and Düsseldorf they have teamed up with renowned support acts Queens of the Stone Age and Acid Bath have teamed up, which further fuels the expectations for these concerts. Prior to the announcement, the band's logo was projected onto buildings in cities such as London and Paris, further increasing interest in the upcoming tour.
