The construction work began on April 17, 2023 and were inaugurated in mid -June.

Now the machines and parking zone signs are history. The expenses for you were therefore unnecessarily made. However, the authority defends its decision and explains that the machines that are no longer required are reused in other places. According to an authority spokesman, no machine was "inoperative".

The reason for the planning disaster is as follows: It was not possible to forego the parking ticket machines during the transition period of almost a year in Müllerstrasse. Otherwise there would have been a rush and considerable parking search in the few free parking spaces. The implementation costs per machine amounted to 800 euros.
