Summer cinema in Lankwitz: Film evenings with live music and neighborhood fun!

This summer the residents of Lankwitz are expecting a very special event: the open Air Sommerkino series, which is organized by the Steglitz e.V. district center and the Paul Schneider-Kirchengemeinde, starts on June 27, 2025. The event will take place on the outdoor area of ​​the Paul Schneider-Kirchengemeinde in Belßstraße 88, 12249 Berlin and is part of the important project "Strengthening Berlin major settlements". For this purpose, over 100 neighbors actively participated in the selection of films in a vote.

The summer in-line series runs from June to August 2025 and comprises a total of three cinema evenings. Every film evening includes not only the film screenings themselves, but also varied accompanying events. A live music show with Gary is planned for the opening, which begins at 8:15 p.m. The first film, "out of nowhere" (FSK 12), starts at 9:45 p.m. A special feature of the series is also the long table on the last film evening, in which all participants can enjoy a dinner together.

  • 9:15 p.m.: Film start "Pretty best friends" (FSK 6)
• 22. August 2025:
  • 7:15 p.m.: Long table (dinner together; each brings something)
  • 8:15 p.m.: Film start "Everything is head" (FSK 0)

Sufficient seating is available for the spectators. Even if many guests want to bring their own blankets or folding chairs, the organizer community ensures that enough seating is provided. In addition, all access to the event is funded by the "Strengthening Berlin major settlements" in the State of Berlin.

Even if there will be no special Silent Cinema options such as 2024, visitors can look forward to a cozy and entertaining ambience.
