Robert Kwasigroch is awarded to Düsseldorf
Hertha BSC has made another personnel decision for the 2024/25 season. Robert Kwasigroch will spend the upcoming rental time on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf. The decision to give the 20-year-old temporarily was confirmed by sports director Benjamin Weber. Kwasigroch played his first professional game in the Olympic Stadium against Braunschweig last year and has been developing continuously since then.
The 1.92 meter tall keeper already joined the capital club at the age of 13 and has since passed the teams of the Hertha BSC Football Academy. In 2022 he became German runner-up with the U19 and won the north/northeast relay in 2023. In addition, he gained initial experiences in the Hertha regional league team. In total, Kwasigroch already played 36 games for the U23 and debuted in the 2nd Bundesliga in September last year. His previous climax was the game against Eintracht Braunschweig, in which he celebrated a 3-0 win and remained without conceding a goal.
The loan transfer to Düsseldorf offers a great way for the young goalkeeper to develop further and gain experience at a higher level. The conversations with those responsible for Fortuna Düsseldorf gave Kwasigroch a good feeling from the start, so that he is concerned with great anticipation.
