Family festival at the Reinickendorf town hall: stage program and information stands planned

On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, a festival will take place on the town hall forecourt in Reinickendorf as part of the international day of the family. The district mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner (CDU) and the patron of the event, district councilor Alexander Ewers (SPD), cordially invite families from Reinickendorf to take part in this colorful and diverse program.

The festival will take from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and offers a varied stage program, including live music from the children's songwriters Môrre, Oli and Tanita Tournesol, the children's music mitersing theater "Fritz and Fridolin celebrate birthday", dance performances by children and adolescents as well as a clown, Maria Genial. In addition, various institutions, freelancers and facilities of the district will be represented at market stalls in order to offer information and advice on various topics such as applications, information and leisure activities, health promotion and more. Families can benefit from inexpensive hearty and sweet treats in the Café Blattwerk.

The festival is organized in cooperation with the children's and youth health service, local, free and municipal providers, family support and education institutions, early help and the Gesobau Foundation.

Due to the multitude of offers and activities, the festival will offer an opportunity for families in Reinickendorf, inform, exchange ideas and celebrate together. It also underlines the importance of the variety of families as a fundamental element of our society.
