Colorful family program in the Reinickendorf Museum on April 7, 2024
On April 7, 2024, the Reinickendorf Museum invites families with children from the age of five to an eventful program. From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can take part in exciting activities at various stations in the interior and outdoor area of the museum. At the beginning, children get a Parcours booklet that leads them through the museum garden to the individual hands-on stations.
At the stations, the families expect puzzles, search games and skill games. Outside at the Germanic houses, visitors learn more about the life of earlier times and have the opportunity to grind grains in a grain mill and to enjoy the fire. In the gallery floor, works of art by Franziska Hönig, Ilona Kálnoky, Ines Doleschal, Martim Brian and Pedro Boese can be viewed before going to the creative station, where colorful textile collages can be created under the guidance of the artist Jakob Roepke.
Furthermore, the artist Ilona Kálnoky offers the opportunity to create living sculptures together with the audience. For those who like to creep, there is the story of the "Spuk in Tegel" in the forester's room. Children who have collected seven stamps from the stations can also pick up a small price in the museum garden.
In addition, there is a digital rally through the museum for children and for adults a digital tour of colonial traces of exhibits in the constant exhibition. The entire event is free of charge and a prior registration is not required.
The event takes place in the Museum Reinickendorf & Galleryetage, Alt-Hermsdorf 35, 13467 Berlin. Further information is available at www.museum-reinickendorf.de.
