Erwin Koerfgen, born in the Wedding workers' district in 1892, was more than just a authorized representative of the cigar factory "Loeser & Wolff" - he was a visionary! His dream of living in his own garden became a reality in Hermsdorf, where he lived the connection between city and nature in a unique way. "Koerfgen was not just an authorized representative, but a person with an extraordinary feeling for life," emphasizes district councilor for culture Harald Muschner (CDU).
