NFL fever in Berlin: Colts invite you to FanZone Week at Potsdamer Platz!

On November 9, 2025, a historic NFL game will take place in the Olympiastadion Berlin, where the Indianapolis Colts will meet the Atlanta Falcons. This marks the US National Football League's (NFL) first regular season game in Berlin, part of the league's multi-year commitment to the city. In addition to the promising game, there will be an extensive “Berlin Game Week” that will last a whole week and put American football in the spotlight.

To properly celebrate the upcoming event, the Colts are organizing an extensive fan experience in Berlin in collaboration with Lucas Oil Products. The Colts FanZone will take place from November 2nd to 9th at Das Center am Potsdamer Platz and is free and open to the public. This major event promises to be an exciting mix of football themes, giveaways, interactive challenges and live entertainment.

FanZone and other events

The FanZone will offer numerous highlights every day. Key attractions include a Colts scarf raffle for the first 1,000 fans and appearances by mascot Blue, cheerleaders and team legends. There will also be interactive football skill challenges such as field goals and a wide receiver challenge. DJs and live performances will further enrich the supporting program.

Here are some of the key events during Colts FanZone:

• 6. November: Colts Meet Berlin Day von 12:00 bis 19:00 Uhr.
• 7. November: Blue Friday von 12:00 bis 22:00 Uhr.
• 8. November: Power Party von 10:00 bis 23:00 Uhr, ganztägige Veranstaltung.
• 9. November: Gameday Party von 09:00 bis 16:00 Uhr im Lindenbräu.

These fan hotspots include the partner pubs Lindenbräu and Hopfingerbräu, which will serve as meeting points throughout the week. Björn Werner, former linebacker and Colts ambassador, highlights the importance of this game for the European fan base.

The Center at Potsdamer Platz

The Center am Potsdamer Platz, the FanZone venue, is an impressive building complex known as the former Sony Center, which covers over 113,000 m². The development attracts more than seven million visitors annually and offers office space, retail, leisure and residential units. The naming rights contract with Sony expired on March 31, 2023; Since then, the center has had the new name.

The NFL has announced that various programs are planned in the city as part of Berlin Game Week, including public viewing, fan experiences and other events.
