Effective femininity: Exhibition questions women pictures in Neukölln

A cultural highlight is imminent! On Friday, November 1, 2024, at 6 p.m., the gallery in the hall building opens its doors for the excited exhibition: "Do you feel me Now? Women's pictures between reality and projection". Art and social issues meet here, while the fascinating works by Julie Legouez, Evelina Reiter and Shona strongly captivate the audience. These artists do not take a leaf out of their mouths and challenge the common image of femininity in a radical way!

In the middle of the dazzling cosmos of Britney Spears, which appeals to the hidden facets of humanity with her hit "toxic", the artists present an expressive examination of the topics of "self -awareness", "social expectations" and the merciless "pressure on perfection". Their work created for the exhibition illuminates the machinations and prejudices that draw the invisible threads of female identity. A call to think about the cultural norms that shape our views of femininity - are we really on the right track?

The exhibition will take place from November 2, 2024 to February 9, 2025 and attracts with an exciting supporting program that hits the heart of the topics. On November 25, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., the book "The Cure" by Julie Legouez will be presented - a must for everyone interested! But that's not all, because on January 16, 2025, the gallery becomes a karaoke stage, where the artists themselves will take the microphone in hand. And the crowning conclusion is the finissage on February 9, 2025, which will personally accompany the artists.

The opening times of the gallery? Daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a few exceptions on the holidays. And best of all: admission is free! A visit is not only a feast for the eyes, but also a pleasure for the soul that does not require any costs.
