On October 9, 2024 at 6 p.m., the time has finally come: The exciting exhibition "Art at Bau in Neukölln: Schnörkel and Vulkane" opens in the stylish foyer of the cultural stable at the Gutshof Britz! With a unique show of creativity and architecture, Neukölln becomes a setting for all art and cultural lovers.
Art in building is not a mere accessory, but a elixir of life for our architecture and public space! It transforms everyday buildings into impressive works of art that shape our surroundings and enrich our everyday life. In this exciting exhibition, two great projects on Neukölln educational institutions are presented: the elementary school on Koppelweg and the Children's and Youth Association Blueberry.
fascinating designs and talents
The real star of this show are the twelve competitive contributions, including the fantastic designs "Schnörkel" by the talented Christin Kaiser and "Vulkangarten" by the creative Valeska Peschke. These fantastic artists: Inside, not only the special features of the respective buildings have an eye on, but also the needs of their users: inside, in order to design everyday and unique works of art.
The exhibition also gives fascinating insights into the complex and democratic process of the art-AM construction competitions! So that every visitor also keeps an overview in technical jargon, there will be a glossary in simple language that explains all important terms in an understandable way.

There will be an exciting discussion round to open this spectacular exhibition! The artists: inside Christin Kaiser and Valeska Peschke, as well as specialist pricing Sven Kalden share their experiences and passion for art on construction. The exchange is moderated by Veronike Hinsberg, the competitive coordinator. Be there and be inspired by the stories behind the works of art!
The exhibition can be visited from October 9 to November 10, 2024. The doors are open Monday to Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - and the best? Admission is free!
