Retrospective exhibition by Diana Eighty: Abstract painting on climate change

The district mayor of Mitte, Stefanie Remlinger, announced in a press release that the Berolina Galerie in the town hall in Mitte from April 16, 2024 will be hosting a retrospective exhibition that focuses on Diana's abstract painting. Under the title "Ecology and Climate Change - Abstract Painting by Diana Eighty", the exhibition will present an artistic presentation of the current challenges of climate change and its effects on humanity. The vernissage will take place on April 16, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., with an opening by district mayor Stefanie Remlinger. The exhibition will be shown in the Berolina Gallery in the Mitte town hall until May 22, 2024.

Diana eighty, an experienced painter and sculptor, will present her works, which show her championship in dealing with oil paints on recycled screens and paper. Due to its abstract art, eighty creates a space in which the urgency of the topic and its commitment to the environment are expressed in a powerful way. The exhibition will not only be a visual experience, but also invite you to reflect on climate change and step into dialogue.

eighty has been internationally exhibited in renowned galleries and at art fairs since 1990 and enriched numerous private art collections worldwide. Her paintings not only reflect on the threats, but also the beauty and diversity of our nature. In addition to the exhibition, Diana is now taking over the volunteer management of the Berolina Galerie in the town hall in Mitte, the artists, artists, clubs, initiatives and also pupil projects offers an attractive space for the presentation of their work.
