Kiez w. Alexanderplatz: City councils invite you to exchange ideas
An interesting event is due at this year's neighborhood walk of the Alexanderplatz district coordination. District City Councilor Ephraim Gothe for Urban Development and Facility Management as well as district councilor Christopher Schriner for order, environment, nature, roads and green areas cordially invite citizens to take part in an exciting program that offers insights into different projects and places in the area.
The neighborhood walk will take place on Thursday, July 4th, 2024, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Petriplatz in Berlin serves as a meeting point. The event is free of charge, but unfortunately only to a limited extent. People with special needs should register them in advance with the Alexanderplatz district coordination.
The program includes the presentation of the Archaeological House of Petri by the team of "Petri Berlin. Discover archeology" and the tour of the medieval latrine on the fishing island. The new team of mobile district work also introduces itself. The four new "Berlin-Mitte-Codes" are presented in the green area of Fischerinsel, which reveal exciting information on the history of Berlin, including the natural monument "Hafenkastanie".
The neighborhood walk also leads to today's ships and projects in the historic harbor before ending in the creative house district center. There the participants have the opportunity to get to know the program of the creative house with a small snack.
Interested parties can come directly to the meeting point, registration is not required. For more information and special inquiries, Dr. Sylvia Euler from the Alexanderplatz district coordination. Media representatives can contact the press office of the Mitte district at press@ba-mitte.berlin.de.
