Day of good life in Berlin 2021: New initiative for sustainable projects
The "Day of Good Life" is a nationwide initiative that has worked in various districts in Berlin since 2021. This year, the Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and the Environment is calling for the first time for Berlin -wide participation. Day of good life in Berlin 2021: New initiative for sustainable projects
The "Day of Good Life" is a nationwide initiative that has been working in various districts in Berlin since 2021. This year, the Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and the Environment is calling for the first time for Berlin -wide participation. Project ideas have to correspond to the goal of the day, but there are no strict stipulations on how to be designed. Workshops on climate change, "Zero-Watste" projects, or street parties to the social neighborhood structure are possible. Projects for special groups such as people with impairments or children and families are also conceivable. Berlin 21 e.V. supports initiatives in planning and implementing projects to strengthen the neighborhood. Initiatives can now submit their project ideas for 2024. The association selects suitable projects, supports the application and provides infrastructure such as traffic signs or music systems. The projects are to be distributed fairly across the districts, with three to five actions per district. District Mayor Nadja Zivkovic is looking forward to the participation of all districts and suggestions from Marzahn-Hellersdorf.
In Berlin, the “Day of Good Life” is introduced across Berlin for the first time. The initiative aims to support local projects that strengthen the neighborhoods and inform those living on environmental and climate protection issues. The association Berlin 21 e.V. acts as a supporter and offers help in planning and implementing projects. With workshops, street festivals and other actions, the districts are to be activated and the neighborhood is strengthened.
