Action Fund Marzahn 2024: Projects for democracy and tolerance wanted

The Action Fund Partnership for Democracy Marzahn 2024 called for the project idea for democracy and tolerance. Citizens of all ages, initiatives and free supporters are encouraged to submit creative project proposals that work for tolerance, solidarity and democracy. The funded projects can receive up to 600 euros and have to be implemented in Marzahn and/or Biesdorf. Applications can be submitted by May 15, 2024, and the project start is possible from the end of May 2024.

The topics of the projects can concentrate on citizen participation, strengthening civil society structures, educational work on racism and anti-Semitism, hate speech, gender equality, fact-checking, environmental and climate protection as well as promoting diversity and tolerance in society.

For those who already have project ideas but need support in filling out the application, the volunteer agency Marzahn-Hellersdorf offers advice, including an online workshop entitled "From the idea for application", which will take place on May 8, 2024.
