The idea was chosen by over 64,500 enthusiastic citizens - a record that underlines the explosiveness and the need for active participation in our society!
whether in the sports club, at neighborhood help or in the solidarity agriculture - the thinking factory of Deutschlandradio wants to start exactly where community hape and self -fulfillment bring women and men together. With an overwhelming participation from the population, it is clear: people want to actively tackle and change instead of just watching!

The director of Deutschlandradio, Raue, summarizes it: "There is a strong need for people to change and improve something on site." This statement not only reflects the desire for action, but also the urge to learn from one another and find new ways. The thought factory opens the doors to gripping discussions - with topics such as "How do we shape the future?" and countless opportunities for creative participation.
In order to further promote the discussions, the topic is dealt with intensively in the programs of Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandfunk Kultur and Deutschlandfunk Nova. And even at nationwide events, the direct exchange with interested voices is sought - so that every idea is heard!
