The Lichtenberg district office is calling on submitting proposals for the "Lichtenberger company in 2024" award. The renowned award is awarded for the 12th time and recognizes companies for their outstanding achievements in the areas of "innovative strength and economic success" as well as "ecological and/or social responsibility and workers: internal friendliness". The district office Lichtenberg calls for submitting suggestions for the "Lichtenberger company in 2024" award. The renowned award is awarded for the 12th time and recognizes companies for their outstanding achievements in the areas of "innovative strength and economic success" as well as "ecological and/or social responsibility and workers: internal friendliness".
District Mayor Martin Schaefer (CDU) emphasizes the diversity of the corporate landscape in the district and praises the commitment of the Lichtenberger companies to create jobs and to strengthen the local economy. In order to propose potential award winners, he encourages the citizens of Lichtenberg to participate in the competition.
Until May 31, 2024, justified proposals or personal applications for the award can be submitted. The prerequisite is that the company has its headquarters or at least essential locations of its economic activity in Lichtenberg and has been based in the district for at least three years. A jury with members from business, politics and administration will decide on the award in the two categories mentioned, with the district mayor as chairman. The award ceremony is planned for June 26, 2024 as part of a festive evening event.

In the past, the award has contributed to strengthening awareness of outstanding achievements in various corporate areas and promoting the economy in Lichtenberg.
