KWW conference 2024: One step into the future of municipal heat planning

The upcoming KWW conference entitled "Communication Heat Planning: Inform. Network. Play through." finds on 19. September 2024 in the city hall (Saale) . This event, which is organized by the Competence Center in the municipal heat turnaround (KWW) of the German Energy Agency (dena), is an important date for energy and urban planning expertise in Germany.

A central concern of this conference is to discuss the challenges and opportunities of municipal heat planning. This planning is crucial to ensure sustainable heat supply and combat climate change. The participation of high -ranking politicians, including State Secretary Nimmermann from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection as well as State Secretary Bösinger from the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building, underlines the importance of this initiative. You will present your perspectives for future heat planning that are of great relevance for municipalities.

A special focus is also on the newly founded network of heat wagering communities (WWK), which is officially launched during the conference. This initiative aims to support municipalities in the implementation of sustainable heat concepts and to exchange experiences.
