Fuel prices fall: Super E10 and diesel reach a new low in Bonn
tumble prices: a new low point for fuel!
The drivers in Germany breathe open, because fuel prices fell to an almost 3-year low in September! In a sensational turn, the prices for Super E10 and Diesel have decreased again - a real reason to be happy for everyone who is traveling by car!
the prices continue?
A look at the numbers: The liter Super E10 only cost around 1.6414 euros on average last month - that is 7 cents less than in August! But that's not all: Diesel is around 1.5379 euros and has thus binded itself 5 cents compared to the previous month. Both fuels were last cheaper in December 2021!
The cheapest cities at a glance
Where do you fuel the cheapest? The answer: In September, drivers in the capital Berlin will only pay 1.6073 euros for one liter of Super E10. Mannheim and Bonn follow closely. On the other hand, drivers in cities such as Hannover, Dresden and Wuppertal have to dig deep into their pockets and pay over 1.65 euros per liter! A clear case of "Wherever you fuel makes the difference!"
The increase in fuel prices still seems far away. The daily analysis of clever refueling shows that the price peaks for diesel and petrol can vary enormously in large cities. So if you want to recharge your clever, you should watch the prices closely and prefer to drive to the petrol pump at times like between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Why the prices are falling
The reasons for constant drop in prices? The falling crude oil prices, which fell below $ 70 per barrel in September, are primarily responsible. The economic data from China are sobering, which affects the demand for crude oil enormously. And while the markets are concerned, the strong euro pulls its train, which makes the crude oil purchases in Germany cheaper.
Steffen Bock from Clever Felken says: "The fuel prices have been in free fall since May!" What a decline - Super E10 fell by 17 cents per liter, diesel by 12 cents! A real treat for all commuters and drivers who have struggled with high prices for a long time.
on average, drivers paid around 393.94 euros for four fuel fillings of 60 liters Super E10 - a decline of 17.11 euros compared to August. And compared to September 2023, drivers even save an incredible 58.22 euros!
But the question remains: How will it go on? Experts warn that diesel prices could possibly attract again before winter because the demand for heating oil could increase. But until then - enjoy the savings at your next petrol station!
