Prevent clinic death: ver.di calls for decisive reforms
The alarm bells ring! In view of the impending hospital reform, the United Service Union (ver.di) raises a lot of alarm. Tomorrow the Bundestag hearing is pending, and ver.di demands drastic improvements - otherwise the entire hospital landscape is on the brink!
"If no bridge financing is provided for the clinics in financial difficulties, a massive clinic extinction threatens with devastating consequences for the nationwide patient care," warns ver.di federal board member Sylvia Bühler . The irresponsible and haphazard dismantling of departments and entire hospitals must be stopped immediately! "The federal and state governments must finally act," she says urgently.
structures rethink!
Bühler emphasizes with emphasis: "The clinics need real residual finance! The previous plans are a worse improvement and do not save the situation." The promised cuts in the catastrophic system of economization, which papers the passionate efforts of doctors and nurses
The reform must not be held on the back of the legally insured persons! Bühler speaks plain text: "The insured figures for health care and not for the dilapidated state of the infrastructure. And that privately insured, who often earn much better, are not asked to checkout, the injustice drastically tightens!" She urgently demands that these decisive investments have to be covered from tax funds.
positive perspectives for nursing staff
But there are also bright spots! The trade unionist is pleased that the planned tariff increases should in future not only be completely compensated for for nursing staff, but for all hospital employees in the current year. "The healthcare system has to become an attractive work environment in order to gain the urgently needed specialists and keep them permanently," explains Bühler enthusiastically.
The clock ticks and the responsibility of politics is clear! In view of the existing deficits and the approaching premium increases, what is on the table is an unforgivable affront against all legally insured. Bühler and ver.di leave no doubt: "We are against this project!"
The signal effect of the decisions is enormous and the time for deeds is now! Berlin, the citizens look closely!
