The European Union has drawn up clear guidelines for the use of artificial intelligence with the AI Act. This divides software into different risk classes - from harmless to the most risky applications that should be better forbidden! A focal point? The recruiting! Here the AI could make drastic decisions about our professional life, and that scares many people. How can it be ensured that these machines act fair and transparently? This is exactly where the exciting research project Ki-Cockpit comes in!

"The fear of uncontrollable decisions by AI is omnipresent," warns Rosmarie Steininger, CEO of Chemistree . "Many fear that their career is shaped by unjust algorithms that are not understandable." But here the AI Cockpit comes into play! The vision? A technology that focuses on people and brings more light into the dark of the decisions.
reinforcement receives the project from the Aalen University of Applied Sciences, where Prof. Dr. Regina Kempen explains: "We try to penetrate the risks and opportunities of AI in recruitment. It is particularly important to create transparency in order to protect the general public from distorted algorithms." This is done through intensive research in order to make the underlying processes of AI understandable in the setting process and to comply with the standards of the EU AI act.
The job match system brings fresh wind!
The heart of the Ki-Cockpit project is the fascinating "job match" system! Here applicants are brought together at lightning speed with suitable job offers - this ensures that even places that are less in the spotlight are given the attention they deserve. "Together with the Aalen University of Applied Sciences, we create the foundations for a future in which AI is not only technically convincing, but also ethically harmless. And the best? In the end, people always have the last word!", Promises Steininger .
