Young Berliner hits the face - police are looking for a suspect!

With a punch in the face of a 58-year-old man, a young unknown is said to have committed almost a fatal attack. The criminal police have now published photos from a surveillance camera and asks the public to help you find the suspect. The incident occurred on July 8, 2023 at around 7 p.m. at a bus stop of the bus line 122 in Calauer Strasse in the Märkisches Viertel.

The 58-year-old man suffered head injuries through the punch or impact on the floor and lost consciousness. Rescue workers immediately took him to a hospital where he was treated operatively. The police are now looking for the fleeting perpetrator who is said to have escaped in the direction of Senftenberger Ring.

The suspect is described as follows: he is about 16 to 25 years old, around 175 to 180 cm tall and of slim stature. He has dark brown curly hair to the shoulder and was dressed in a light t-shirt and a black padded quilted vest at the time of the crime.

The criminal police ask the population for information on identity or the location of the suspect as well as information that could be associated with the crime. Each police station accepts the relevant information.
