Jordan helps Israel's neighbors: drone shot down

In the night of Sunday, Jordan participated in the defense against Iranian drones on the Iraqi-Syrian border, which Jerusalem may have as a goal. According to media reports, Jordan managed to intercept dozens of the drones that had penetrated into the Jordanian airspace. The Jordan government confirmed the incident, but emphasized that no people were injured and that there were no considerable damage to buildings.

Despite the discussion and shooting of the drones, Iran warned Jordan of a further interference into the conflict and threatened consequences. The airspace was temporarily closed and only reopened after ten hours to ensure security in the region. Accordingly, while Iran's attack on Israel, parts of shot down rockets in Jordan fell from heaven.

Jordan's approach is particularly remarkable due to his historical hostility with Israel and the latest development towards an alliance. Before signing the peace treaty in 1995, Jordan was a military opponent of Israel. The "Jerusalem Post" praised Jordan's decision to face Iran and Arabian neighboring countries such as Syria as a sign of a transformation from the enemy to alliance.
