Hotspot Berlin: Rider under pressure - action day for decent work

The district office Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg will celebrate the day of action for the decent work of the BEMA with the support of the Berlin consulting center for migration and good work on October 7th. This year, the focus is on the working conditions of the Rider inside, i.e. the driver of food and grocery delivery services. Consultants, district office employee inside, trade union activists and volunteers will be on the road in Berlin Kiezen to inform about labor rights.

District City Councilor Oliver Nöll emphasizes the importance of decent work in a booming platform-based delivery service industry. Berlin is known as a hotspot for such services, and Nöll is committed to wage and socially secured employment relationships. On the World Day for Musical Work, the district office and partner are actively involved in clarifying and advice on labor law in the city. Media contact: press@ba-fk.berlin.de, (030) 90298-2843.
