At 1:24 p.m., the fire brigade received an emergency call, which reported a full fire in an 180 square meter workshop hall in Eichhorster Weg. A large cloud of smoke was even seen from the middle of the district. Fortunately, the firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to other buildings. Fortunately, nobody was injured in the fire.

The fire brigade announced on Twitter that a total of 87 emergency services were involved in deleting the fire. Reverse work is still ongoing. However, the cause of the fire has not yet been determined because the fire brigade's press office could not provide any corresponding information.

During the operation, the BVG buses of line 120 between Calauer Straße and the Wittenau underground station were redirected, but now they drive again as usual.

The fire in the workshop hall could be deleted thanks to the use of three C-tubes (one of them via a DLK) and ten pressing air atmakers. Fortunately, the fire did not switch to an adjacent building. The fire brigade was also able to mount and cool several gas bottles. To ensure that there are no further dangers, extensive control of the environment was carried out.
