New urban development project in Rudolf band: Citizens' participation for the future!
The district office Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg calls on all residents and employees of the "Rudolfband" investigation area to participate in the second public city workshop. The "Rudolfband" describes the areas in the Stralauer Kiez in Friedrichshain, which are located directly on the railway tracks.
An integrated action concept is developed to direct the future development of this area. The goal is to maintain and secure the mixture of living, work, culture and social infrastructure. Particular attention is paid to securing producing and manual business as well as the development of commercial space. The results of the first city workshop and technical discussions flow into the concept design, which is presented in the second city workshop.
In addition to the face-to-face event, there is the possibility of online participation on the Mein.Berlin.de platform. Florian Schmidt, district councilor for building, living and cooperative urban development, emphasizes the importance of citizen participation for the future of the Rudolf band. All interested parties are invited to hear their voice and to shape the future of this district together.
For more information and an overview map for the project, you can reach media contact by email at press@ba-fk.berlin.de or by phone at (030) 90298-2843. Let us shape the future of the Rudolf band together!
