Free green advice for tenants in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg

The district office Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg has reintroduced the free green advice for tenants. The funding program is to create biodiversity green spaces in backyards or on balconies. In addition to plants, substrates and nesting aids, removal measures are also funded with up to 3,000 euros per farm. The advice takes place during the office hours in Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg, but individual appointments for the court inspection can also be made.

The green counseling in Kreuzberg takes place in the Kreuzberg e.V. Office on Bergmannstrasse 14 and can be reached on Tuesdays from 6 to 7.30 p.m. (without an appointment). The green counseling in Friedrichshain is held in the office self-help meeting point at Boxhagener Straße 89 and can be reached on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. (without appointment and by appointment).

The “Green Houses” program is financed by the Environment and Nature Conservation Office Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. Interested parties can contact Gruenberatung@stadtteiltsrungs-kreuzberg.de by email. Further information on the expiry of the application and implementation is also available.

Overall, free green advice offers a great way for tenants to make their living space more ecological and make a contribution to nature conservation. The promotion of green areas in urban areas also promotes biodiversity and the city climate improves. So if you are interested in designing your green oasis, you should use the green advice.

The district office is available for further information and media inquiries at press@ba-fk.berlin.de or by phone at (030) 90298-2843.
