In a shocking incident in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf last night, three men were suspected of demanding money from a 39-year-old while threatening violence while driving. The dramatic incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. in a parking lot on Bornholmer Straße. The situation escalated when the three men's car left the road on Saatwinkler Damm, collided with a street lamp and a traffic railing and finally came to a standstill.
After the accident, the suspected perpetrators fled the scene on foot. The 39-year-old, who suffered injuries to his torso area in the incident, was able to request help from a passing car. The police were called to the scene and immediately began investigations into robbery, extortion, traffic accidents and dangerous interference with traffic. The vehicle involved in the accident was also confiscated. Firefighters were also on site to remove the damaged light pole.
