Finalists for the ZDF aspects literature price 2024 have been determined
Attention, literature fans! The highly expected ZDF "aspects" literature price brings a breath of fresh air to the book scene! This year, four outstanding novels are the best literary debuts in the final that make every reader's heart beat:
- Clemens Böckmann with "What you can get" (Hanser)
- Julia Jost inspires with "Where the pointed tooth of the caravans flick up into the sky" (Suhrkamp)
- Julja Linhof's "Krummes Wood" (Klett-Cotta)
- Ruth-Maria Thomas with "The most beautiful version" (Rowohlt)
The tension increases! On Saturday, October 19, 2024 , at 2:00 p.m. will be announced on the large literary stage of ARD, ZDF and 3SAT as part of the top -class Frankfurt Book Fair of the winner. But a day before, on 18. October 2024 , at 11.30 p.m. , the award winner is presented in the popular program "Aspects"!

Behind this prestigious literary award is a selected jury: the well -known faces Mara Delius of "Die Welt", Christian Dunker of "Merre Blossom" in Berlin, Daniel Fiedler from ZDF, David Hugendick from "Zeit Online" and Nicola Steiner from the Literaturhaus Zurich have the difficult task of choosing the promising talents from the promising talents.
Since 1979 , ZDF has been using the best German-language prose debuts and rewarded the most talented authors with a stately price of 10,000 euros . With this price, many of the former award winners experienced their breakthrough into their successful literary career. Names like Charlotte Gleuß, Sven Pfizenmaier, Felicitas Hoppe and the Nobel Prize winner Herta Müller, to name just a few, have already secured this price!
