Celebrate the diversity: firmly on the market square Neu-Hohenschönhausens

On Saturday, September 14, 2024, the "Festival of Diversity" is celebrated in Berlin Neu-Hohenschönhausen. This colorful event takes place from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the market square behind the Linden Center at Prerower 1st. It promises a variety of attractions for the entire family, including music, artistics, sports and games as well as creative activities.

The "Festival of Diversity" is organized as part of the celebrations for the district anniversary "40 years of Neu-Hohenschönhausen". It serves as a platform for local initiatives of neighborhood work that present current information from the district. District Mayor Martin Schaefer (CDU) emphasizes the importance of such events for strengthening the community and the exchange with each other.

The festival offers diverse culinary delicacies such as coffee, cake, popcorn and grilled dishes. The musical entertainment is carried out by LIVE appearances by Clash Clash Bang Bang, Boxi Barré and Rasuli. The supporting program is just as diverse and includes, among other things, dwarf city, construction site Berlin, hands-on circus Cabuwazi, Street-Beatz workshops and giant soap bubbles.

This unique project is organized by the Albus e.V. Association in cooperation with various providers of the local district and community work and financed by the "Strengthening Berlin major settlements". The regulatory unit of social space -oriented planning coordination of the Lichtenberg district office works closely with the organizers to coordinate the "festival of diversity" and ensure that it becomes an unforgettable event.
