On August 2, 2024, the gallery in the Saalbau in Berlin opens its doors for the impressive solo exhibition "A Man of many parts" by Jota Kayodê Ramos. The multidisciplinary artist from Brazil presents its profound considerations on questions of breed and gender identity in performance, video, installation, photography and poetry.

With his work,Ramos creates a space in which he authentically reflects the experiences, fights and triumph as a bipoc trans* person. His art aims to question existing social norms and to promote a more inclusive understanding of breed and gender. Visitors: Inside are invited to explore the complex stories and perspectives of a trans* person and their transition.
Jota Kayodê Ramos, which is also known as Mandrake Mermaid Xtravaganza, lives and works in Berlin. As a co -founder of "Workdatcxnt", a collective that focuses on transmasculine people, in particular bipoc, he is actively committed to visibility and recognition of marginalized identities.

The exhibition "A Man of many parts" runs from August 3 to October 27, 2024 and offers a platform for the artistic examination of bipoc and trans experiences. Every work in the exhibition is a powerful testimony of strength, beauty and complexity of these experiences.
