An exciting highlight for sport in Saxony-Anhalt is just around the corner! Six outstanding clubs from the region have secured the prestigious title "Stars of Sports in Silver" in 2024. The anticipation for the great award ceremony is increasing, because the honor will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2024, under the radiant lights of the State Chancellery in Magdeburg!
The sporty Heroes that fight for the coveted awards are not just a group. The nominees include the sports clubs Erazo Taekwondo Germany e. V., TSG Gutsmuths 1860 Quedlinburg e. V., TV Popcorn e. V. from Stendal, SV Anhalt Bernburg e. V., MSV Hettstedt e.V. (Table Tennis Department) and SV Mertendorf e. V. together with the Central German Network Health e. V. These committed clubs stand for outstanding achievements and exemplary volunteering!

The tension is tangible! On honorary day, the athletes of Dr. Tamara Zieschang, the Minister of the Interior and Sport, as well as representatives of the Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken and the State Sports Association. But the best thing is still coming: On the honor stage, the clubs learn what place they occupy! Should it be the big star in silver or one of the small stars in silver? Or maybe even a promotional prize?
The highlight for the first -placed club is the chance to win the big star in gold in January 2025 and thus go into history as a federal winner - a dream for every member!

The award is scheduled for November 7, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. and lasts until around 6:30 p.m. The venue is the State Chancellery of Saxony-Anhalt, Hegelstraße 40-42, 39104 Magdeburg. All journalists are invited to be there to be able to experience this exciting event up close!
